The rehabilitation unit in Hallstahammar is a small group with an important mission. We are now looking for an Occupational Therapist to strengthen our team. We are a group of just over 10 people, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Rehab Assistants. We have different areas of responsibility but collaborate and help each other where needed. We have good cooperation with other professional categories in the operations, such as care staff, nurses, case managers, and managers. For us, quality and development are important, and of course, that we enjoy and feel good at work!

We are part of the municipality's HSL operations, which, in addition to rehab, consists of a nursing unit and a dementia team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As an occupational therapist with us, your mission is rehabilitation with the goal of utilizing/developing the individual's abilities, enabling participation, and creating the best possible conditions for independence in daily life. This includes occupational therapy assessment and training, adaptation of the home environment, provision of assistive devices, as well as guidance and support to care staff and relatives. You play an important role in the interdisciplinary teamwork, in care planning, and systematic quality work.

As an occupational therapist with us, you work both in special housing and regular housing throughout the municipality, with a free and independent work style in close collaboration with colleagues and other professionals around the individual.

QUALIFICATIONS

• We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist.
• Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
• We would like you to have experience working in elderly care, but this is not a requirement.
• A manual transmission B driver's license is a requirement.
• Interviews may take place during the application period.
